Draft Poster & Final Poster
ZAHA HADID POSTER
Firstly there arent many posters about Zaha Hadid' work, i chose this one out of three.
This poster is pretty much eye catching, it takes my eyes to the main background image and to three images on top right hand corner then to the car bottom left hand corner.
I think their visual direction is really interesting
beside their background image helps it with curvy shape.
Font uses are pretty well done, using bold font for the title and the starter word.

Reflection
Assignment One or this whole subject 'Digital Representation Studio' has twisted my thinking habit in different way.
I can't deny that I've been struggling with getting enough understand of the final output concept or even this assignment in order to go on with weekly tasks and independent studies. But I've been inspired so much from the Augmented Reality technology and other people's work with this technology. I personally think It wasn't easy for me to handle so much of work from this assignment without understanding of this assignment properly.
However, this assignment got me to investigate Zaha Hadid's work which i was so interested in and got influenced through the output. It helped me to visualize further detailed structure while i was designing this 'Twin Caves Building', like using negative space, dividing levels, creating organic shapes and circulation of pathways.
From the beginning, it was pretty fun making paper models also little bit changeling creating a unique shape and still make it stands but i think i have done good at that. Creating creatures was bit out of my mind i think, as there were no limit of creating them, which made me to think lazy. As weeks go, funnily enough the model i had in my mind didn't really change much, it just got developed by having double models however the environment for the building has changed i think it was because i re-analyze the clients brief for environment.
Ive been spent most of my time designing the building through 3Ds Max, Google Sketchup and SandBox, modeling environment on 3Ds Max was a time consuming, the shape of rocks on desert and layers of sand floors. Finding right texture also difficult as well. I tried to be creative as possible by making animations:
1. All parts of the building such as floors, walls, stairs are structuring one by one.
It shows how the building can be built.
2. Rotating and cloning buildings, it shows cool forms and movements.
3. A character moves around the house to show interaction of pathways.
Designing posters, markers were pretty entertaining, since ive got good quality of rendered photos i was able to play with them much.
